Members of ACA get together at regular intervals and actively involve in various events that encourage community service, promote kinship and social responsibility. Through a host of services and activities ACA aims to perpetuate, integrate, and assimilate the cultural heritage of the Telugu-speaking people into the mainstream of Canadian life, particularly Edmonton.

Homeless Services:ACA members demonstrate social responsibility by actively working with Non-Profit organizations in providing care and services to Homeless people in Edmonton. We conduct events where in members volunteer and donate food, money, effort and time in caring for the less privileged.

River Valley Cleanup:We believe in "cleanliness is next to godliness" and every year ACA members enthusiastically volunteer with the City of Edmonton and take up the clean up drive at parks and river shorelines.

Picnics:ACA members get together twice a year for picnic's and avail the opportunities to socialize and participate in outdoor activities besides savouring Telugu delicacies

Blood Donation:Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of life. ACA members strongly believe in it and proactively work with the Canadian Blood services and donate blood. We conduct blood donation camps and take pride in it.

Youth Talent Show and Fund Raising:The youth at ACA demonstrate their social responsibility and care for the community by raising funds through talent shows. The youth show case their talents and artistic skills at the talent shows and donate the funds raised for a social cause.

Festivals:ACA members actively celebrate all Hindu festivals at various Hindu temples in Edmonton. Members volunteer and donate time and resources to conduct the events on a grand scale right from the beginning of Telugu new year Ugadi to Sankrathri.
